Helping Your Skin Care Needs...

Stop Your Eczema Suffering & Irritation

Emotionally, living with a skin condition such as eczema (eg-zuh-MUH) can be challenging, and very irritating and it can take a toll on a person affecting their emotional and physical health.

Skin conditions like eczema are well known to most people. Despite this, many people do not realize that an irregular response beneath the skin can contribute to this condition. Eczema is believed to be caused by an immune response that contributes to inflammation within the skin which you can see.

According to the National Eczema Association, research in the United States shows that more than 9.6 million children and about 16.5 million adults suffer from atopic dermatitis (AD), which is the most common type of eczema.

Common symptoms of eczema will vary from person-to-person and can appear really anywhere on your body and can range from mild to severe in infants, childhood, teens and adults.

However, there are certain symptoms of eczema that you should be aware of that we see over and over again at our Easton MD Dermatology office.
